I am a founding member of Star and Shadow Cinema, in Newcastle upon Tyne. I am about to being a PhD with Reading University, regarding the DIY Cinema Culture that has developed since the late 1990's. I am a filmmaker, working in HD and 16mm, with home processing techniques. I organise a film retreat called Losing the Plot, in Northumberland.
